The Hadley RC Club held its first race of the school year Sunday, Oct. 9. It was a great day of racing with exciting paint rubbing action.
Two of our rookie drivers did a great job. Ethan and Evan did an outstanding job for their first race. In the Tamiya Mini Class our student racers all did very well. That includes Dylan, Nikolaus S., Binh, and Carson. In the Off Road Truck Class Dylan was the A Main winner, Matt W. was second, Hunter was third, and Nikolaus S. was fourth. The Student Touring Class A Main provided high-speed action. Dylan was the winner, Alex was second, Matt White was third, Binh was fourth, and Hunter was fifth in the A Main. The Student Short Course Class was filled with exciting jumps and paint swapping action. In the A Main Dylan was first, Hunter was second, Matt W. was third, and Nikolaus S. was fourth. In the Torment/Fury/Slash Class there was some close side-by-side action. Matt W. was first, Carson was second, Evan was third, and Ethan was fourth in the A Main. The high speeds and graceful jumps of the buggies in the Buggy Class make it an entertaining and exciting class to watch. Matt W. was first, Dylan was second and Hunter was third in the A Main.
Thanks to our parents, relatives and visitors that came to watch our races. Special thanks to the parents who helped us setup and cleanup. Thanks to our Pit Crew volunteers who help our students. Thanks to our Hadley custodians for their usual great job! Thanks to the Hadley office staff for all their help! Thanks to Mr. Bourke. We hope he feels 100% soon.
Our next race is this weekend on Sunday, Oct. 23.
