Crash City

On Sunday, March 9 the R /C Club held a race and it appeared that loss of one hour of sleep led to the mayhem on the track.  

Torment Class

In the Torment Class there were some exciting finishes, hard hits and broken trucks. Round 1 provided the closest finish of th e day. Alex narrowly edged our Nick Z. Alex had 13 laps in 5:06.44 for first place while Nick was second with 13 laps in 5:06.68. Will M. was third, Diondre was fourth, and Jared was fifth. In Round 2 Alex continued his winning ways with 16 laps in 5:19.51. Nick Z. was second, Diondre was third, and Will D. was fourth. In Round 3 Alex repeated as the winner with 15 Laps on 5:09 24. Diondre  was second, Nick Z. was third, and Jared was fourth. In the Main Will M and Alex dueled for the top spot. Alex continued his dominance in this class with 19 laps in 6:04.81. Will was second with 19 laps in 6:42.75. Will D. was third, Nick Z. was fourth and Diondre was fifth.  

Short Course Truck Class

In the Short Course Truck Class you needed extra parts to continue to run. There were head on crashes, pile-ups and rollovers. In Round 1 Mark rolled over the competition with 18 laps in 5:09. Shabbir and Kyle dueled for the second spot. Shabbir was second with 15 laps in 5:03.90 and Kyle was third with 15 laps in 5:07.60, Matt was fourth, Nick Z. was fifth, Will M. was sixth, and Collin was seventh. In Round 2 Mark lapped the field for the win. Collin was second, Will M. was third, Matt was fourth, Shabbir, was fifth, and Kyle was sixth. In Round 3 Mark cruised to another victory with 18 laps in 5:03.66. In a tight battle for second, Kyle edged out Shabbir. Kyle had 17 laps in 5:02.78 and Shabbir had 17 laps in 5:05. 12. Collin was fourth, and Matt  was fifth. In the Main after the dust had cleared and all the broken parts were gathered up Mark continued his wining ways with 22 laps in 6:08.70. Kyle was second, Collin was third, Shabbir was fourth, Will M. was fifth and Matt was sixth.
